Festivities of San Pedro

The festivities of San Juan and San Pedro, if we stick to history, were born with the purpose of celebrating La Jura, which was thus called to the attitude and obedience to the King of Spain. The origins of the feast of San Pedro, today turned into the Folk Festival and National Reign of the Bambuco, go back to times of the conquest. Or at least, it is from there when there is news about the genesis of it.

Live the party:

The San Pedro 29 of June was celebrated in the urban helmet of the town and was characterized by the cavalcade, the head of rooster, the rod of prize, the gunpowder, aguardiente and music with the band of wind.
